13 Jr.
Ally Angell (Lucy) is thrilled to be back onstage at CAP! She has always wanted to do 13! Ally is 15 and has been performing musical theater since she was 7. Most recently, she played Little Red Ridinghood in Into the Woods at W.T. Clarke High School, which role earned her selection to participate in The Roger Rees Awards for Excellence in Student Performance, moving onto the Nominee Selection Phase this May for The Outstanding Performer in a Musical Award. Past credits include: American Idiot (Heather), Anastasia, Youth Edition (Anya), As You Like It (Rosalind), Mean Girls YPT (Karen Smith), Heathers YPT (Heather Duke), Pippin YPT (Catherine), and The Addams Family YPT (Alice Beineke). Ally thanks the 13, Jr. production team and her parents and brothers for all their support! Enjoy the show!
Abigail Bernal-Helices (Richie) is thrilled to make her Cultural Arts Playhouse debut in 13 Jr, having previously performed in productions of Annie Jr. and Seussical. When not rehearsing, she enjoys perfecting her front handspring, crafting hip-hop routines, crocheting, and spoiling her two beloved furballs, Dusty & Monae. Abigail also loves whipping up ice cream sundaes and binging Dance Moms—all while dreaming of her next role on stage.
Andrew Boylan is thrilled to make his CAP Merrick debut as Eddie in 13 Jr.! This marks his seventh production, and he has loved every moment of being on stage. Some of his favorite past roles include Aladdin in Aladdin Jr., Olaf in Frozen Jr., and Bert Healy in Annie Jr. Andrew has a deep love for musical theater and the arts—when he’s not rehearsing, he’s usually singing, drawing, or playing video games. He is also an active soccer player, plays the cello, and is a proud member of his school chorus. One of the things he loves most about theater is the friendships he has made along the way. Andrew is grateful to the production team for this amazing opportunity and to his family for always encouraging and supporting his passions. He is so excited to perform and hopes everyone enjoys the show!
John Carlino (Malcolm): John is so excited to be a part of such a wonderful cast of 13Jr. This will be John's 5th production ever! He has previously preformed as Barrister in The Wizard of Oz (CAP Syosset) and Scab 1 in Newsies (James Street Players), Ignorance/Nikolas in A Christmas Carol (CAP Syosset) and ensemble in Decendants Jr. (Massapequa Schools). He thanks the creative team, Bruce, Savannah and, of course, Christine, for the opportunity to preform with this incredibly gifted group of young actors!
Alex Cordeira (Brett) is thrilled to be part of this production of 13 The Musical! Favorite past roles include Luke (The Lightning Thief), The Scarecrow (The Wizard of Oz Jr.) Scar (The Lion King Jr.), Michael (Mary Poppins Jr.), and Walter (Elf the Musical Jr.). Alex would like to thank the entire production team for their hard work and dedication, and his family for their endless support. His mom would also like recognition for being his chauffeur and PA.
Nick Cordeira (Archie) is thrilled to be part of this production of 13 The Musical! Favorite past roles include Tiny Tim (A Christmas Carol), Oliver (Oliver Jr.), Timon (The Lion King Jr.), Piglet (Winnie the Pooh Jr.), and Mike Teevee (Willy Wonka Jr.). Nick would like to thank the entire production team for their hard work and dedication, and his family for their endless support. Yes, my mom copied and pasted from my brother’s bio.
Aine Cosgrave is a homeschooled 9th grader excitedly portraying Charlotte and Richie in Cultural Arts Playhouse Merrick’s production of 13 The Musical Jr. Her recent credits include Damien in Mean Girls and Blanche in Brighton Beach Memoirs both with From Stage to Screen; and performing as ensemble singer/dancer alongside Ray Parker Jr. and the NY Pops Orchestra at Carnegie Hall in April 2024 with Camp Broadway NYC.
Beyond the stage, Aine enjoys learning Ballroom, Salsa, and Merengue dancing and competes on a summer swim team. She also loves spending time with her 3 sisters and family. She is excited to be making her debut at CAP Merrick and looks forward to building strong vocal/acting skills while creating new relationships. Thank you Bruce, Christine and Savanah for providing a supportive environment to build confidence and foster passion. Good luck to everyone and break a leg!
Ava Greenberg (Simone) is excited to be performing in her 2nd CAP show. Ava has been doing musical theatre for years and some of her notable productions include Annie Jr as Annie and Frozen Jr. as Anna. She has also done productions of Finding Nemo Jr, Shrek Jr, Once Upon a Mattress, Peter Pan and Descendants Jr. Ava is an active member of Tri-M music honor society and school orchestra. Ava thanks the amazing production team and is so excited to perform with this talented cast!
Lily Haberly ( Molly) is so excited to be part of this production of 13 Jr. at CAP. Some of lily’s favorite previous productions include: Aladdin ( jasmine), Mean girls ( Janis), Aladdin ( rajah), Wizard of oz ( Dorothy), Camp rock ( peggy), Annie ( miss hannigan), Shrek ( wicked witch), Chorus line ( Val), Shrek ( dragon), Elf ( Emily Hobbs) 13 ( Cassie) Into The Woods( Bakers Wife). Lily would like to thank Christine, Bruce, and Savannah for making the show be the best it can be. Lily would also like to thank her parents and her vocal coach for their support! Enjoy the show!
Kaley Mohan (Patrice) is a 10-year-old performer with a passion for acting, singing, and dancing. She’s in honors chorus and plays the violin. Kaley has been credited as Wednesday in The Addams Family at Twin Oaks Summer Camp and was also cast as Cecille in Annie Jr at Birch Elementary School. She loves dogs and enjoys being creative, whether she’s performing on stage or learning new songs. Kaley is always excited to try new things and have fun with her friends and family.
Elessandra Morrison - Ellie Morrison is appearing in her 3rd show at CAP Merrick as Molly in 13 Jr. Over the last year she held the roles of Bert Healy/Mrs Pugh in Annie Jr and Middle Anna in Frozen Jr. Over the holidays she made her Main Stage debut as Belinda Cratchit/Want in A Christmas Carol The Musical. She would like to thank Bruce, Christine, Savannah and the cast and crew for making this such a fun show to be a part of!
Evangeline Morrison- Evangeline (Gigi) is excited to be playing Cassie in 13 Jr. She has appeared at CAP Merrick as Grace in Annie Jr. and Anna in Frozen Jr. She held her first role on the Main Stage in Syosset as Martha Cratchit/Fred’s Daughter in A Christmas Carol The Musical. She has loved being a part of 13 Jr and would like to thank Bruce, Christine, Savannah and the cast and crew for making this such a fun adventure!
Adelyn O'Brien is so excited to be a part of 13 Jr as Richie! This is Adelyn's second YPT production. Last year she had so much fun performing in Annie Jr. She loves CAP! Some of Adelyn's past credits include working as an actor for two David Simon's productions. Most notabliy for being featured in Perspective magazine for Plot Against America (HBO). Additionally, Adelyn has been featured as a commercial actor and model for Fisher Price and Carter's. Currently, Adelyn is a proud member of her school chorus. Thank you to the talented directors, cast, and crew for making this such a great experience!
Romy Oilman (Cassie) is beyond thrilled to be a part of 13 Jr. This is Romy’s third performance at CAP and each experience has been incredible and fun. Romy’s past credits at CAP include Deb in Elf JR, Dog Catcher/ensemble in Annie and can’t wait to see what is in store next. We want to thank the incredible staff/teachers/production team at CAP who have been so influential in Romy’s growth these past 2 years. We can’t thank you enough. As well, she would like her family that supports her dreams to one day be on Broadway!
Sabrina Pichardo (Lucy) is super excited to be a part of 13 Jr. at CAP! She can’t wait to perform with such a great cast. Sabrina has been in Annie Jr. (Molly), Frozen Jr. (Middle Anna), and most recently, she played Fred’s daughter/Belinda Cratchit in A Christmas Carol. She’s so thankful to Bruce for helping her be her best, realizing her potential and giving her this OPPORTUNITY! A big thank you to Isabella and Savannah for helping her with her singing and to Christine! Sabrina is also grateful for her family and friends for always being there for her. When she’s not on stage, Sabrina loves playing softball and cheering with her competitive cheer team. She loves to dance, sing, and spend time with her family, especially her brothers and parents. Theater makes her so happy, and she’s thankful for all the amazing friends she’s made!
Avery Saur is thrilled to be part of this production of 13 The Musical! Avery has been performing with the Cultural Arts Playhouse over the past year in multiple shows, including Annie Jr., Elf Jr. , Frozen Jr. and the summer performance of 13 The Musical. Avery is currently in her last year at Birch Elementary school. She is performing alongside her sister Harlow in this show.
Harlow Saur (Kendra) is excited to be part of this production of 13 The Musical! Harlow has also performed with Cultural Arts Playhouse in Annie Jr., Elf Jr. , and Seussical. In her spare time Harlow also enjoys competing with her travel soccer team. She is performing alongside her sister Avery in this show.
Dylan Schachter (Archie) is thrilled to be performing with CAP Merrick again in this production of 13 Jr. Some of Dylan’s previous notable credits include: Elf Jr. (Buddy), Aladdin Jr. (Genie), Shrek Jr. (Shrek), Frozen Jr. (Olaf), Little Mermaid Jr. (Sebastian), and Mean Girls Jr. (Damian). He loves being on the stage singing and wants to thank the production team for helping him and all his fellow cast members make this show the best possible. He would also like to thank his family for being so supportive of his passion for musical theater.
Justin Siegel is very excited to make his CAP debut as Malcolm in 13 Jr! Although new to the CAP stage, Justin has also performed at Birch School. He most recently could be seen as Drake in Annie Jr and previously as a Wickersham Brother in Seussical Jr. Justin was also cast as Carlos in Camp Poyntelle's Descendents production. Aside from his theater endeavors, Justin is a talented, comedic and creative person who enjoys spending time with family and friends and a multitude of activities both in and out of school!
Jake Snyder is so beyond pumped and excited to bring Eddie to life on stage in 13 Jr.! This will be Jake’s fourth show with Cultural Arts Playhouse, where he has previously played characters such as: Lt Ward/Roosevelt in Annie Jr., Kristoff in Frozen Jr., and the man, the myth, the legend, Santa Claus in Elf Jr.. Jake is so grateful to Bruce for his encouragement to tryout for this different type of role than he is use to playing, Christine for her coaching and dedication and the rest of the production team for the opportunity to once again do what he loves and perform on stage with his cast mates! Jake hopes you enjoy the show!
Gavin Tenney is excited to take the stage as Malcolm in 13 Jr.! This marks his fifth production with Cultural Arts Playhouse, where he has previously brought characters to life as Oliver Warbucks in Annie Jr., Kristoff in Frozen Jr., Nigel in Matilda Jr., and Walter Hobbs in Elf Jr.. Gavin is grateful to be working under the direction of Bruce, whose guidance and passion have always inspired him to be his best. He’s also delighted to be working with Christine again as stage manager. He is thankful for the opportunity to perform alongside such a talented cast and hopes you enjoy the show!
Eric Vaglio (Evan) is so excited to join the cast of cool kids in CAP Merrick’s production of 13 Jr. as Evan. Recent credits include Shrek the Musical Jr. (Donkey), Matilda the Musical (Tommy), YPT Addams Family (Lucas), Annie Jr. (Rooster), Pippin (Theo). Thank you Bruce, Savannah and Christine for their guidance and this amazing opportunity.
Mason Villa (Evan) is excited to be performing in his second show! His first show was Annie, where he played a servant. Mason has always loved singing and performing, and he is eager to take his passion to the next level. A valued player on his travel baseball team, Mason contributes predominately as a pitcher and third baseman. He also plays little league baseball and soccer. As the middle brother of three, Mason often finds himself checking in on everyone in the household. In addition to his athletic talents, he is a skilled clarinet player in both the band and jazz band, and he sings in the school chorus. Mason is so happy to continue exploring his love for performing while balancing his many other interests.
Nicholas Villa (Brett) is excited to be performing in his second show! His first show was Annie, where he played the role of Rooster. Nicholas is the oldest of three brothers and enjoys staying active, particularly through playing baseball and basketball. He recently discovered his love for being on stage and has an impressive ability to exude confidence while performing. When he’s not on stage, you’ll likely find him immersed in video games or engaging in creative, artistic projects, like building complex Lego sets. Passionate about all things STEAM, Nicholas especially loves coding. He is also a talented musician, playing the trumpet in both band and jazz band. Nicholas is thrilled to continue exploring the world of theater while pursuing his love for technology, music, and creativity.
Noa Wellen (Charlotte) is thrilled to be back on the CAP Merrick stage in 13: The Musical Jr. Some of Noa’s favorite theater credits include Annie in Annie Jr., Grace Smythe / Fan in A Christmas Carol, Michael Hobbs in Elf Jr., and Princess Poppy in Trolls - The Musical. Noa would like to thank Bruce, Savannah, and Christine for another amazing experience here at CAP. She would also like to thank her family for always being in her corner!
Zoe Wenzel (Lucy) is excited to be performing in her second show with Cultural Arts Playhouse. Her first show was Elf where she played Deb. She also played Miss Honey in the Matilda Jr. the Musical production for the North Merrick school district. When she is not rehearsing for a show, Zoe is playing basketball for the 7th grade MAMS team and her travel basketball team, playing softball, playing volleyball, and catching up on her favorite shows and movies with her parents and two younger brothers. She has had a great experience getting ready for the show with Bruce, Christine, and the entire cast!
Angelia Wood (Patrice) is ecstatic to perform in her second performance with CAP. She played Elsa, in Frozen Jr. She has won Access Broadway’s Star award and has been part of the Broadway Experience competition team for 6 years. Her passion is singing. CAP has opened her eyes to performing! She is thankful to work among her talented peers.
